The 21st of June 2008[edit]

Ok, again someone has decided that "Oh hey, let's restore someone's talk page that was deleted by that person for their own reason." just to have a laugh or whatever motive they had.

Anyways, School has been out for a few weeks now but i'm now just getting to edit this. (( Back Logged on tons of coding for my irc bot *Bleh* )) Anyways, back again to combat or contribute... mostly combat as i'm not sure what i would be able to contribute at all lol.

Anyways, Should be more active now so vandals beware... not my class mates.. just those who vandalize the wiki!!!!

userpage vandalism[edit]

I've reverted Kathleenmoore's edits. Strange how someone who claims to be a professional poet and student of constitutional law vandalises pages and doesn't know how to use the caps lock :P. Ironholds 06:32, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem :). Some people can't be helped, mainly self-important ones. If you try to assist them they go "oh, so you think you know better than me? I have X qualifications, you're just a college student!" even if it's something like "hey, you forgot to capitalise a name in the article". I find it's best to let them be and wait for the inevitable day when they get their sorry arses blocked for edit warring and personal attacks (and still go away convinced they were right). Good attitude! Vandals come and go, and make a negligible impact; it's best not to get to worked up about silly people you'll never meet (although I know one admin who was actually stalked by a wiki-user, but meh). You don't have to create a new heading every time you post a talk page message, btw; just post directly under the last message with a : sign at the beginning of the first line and it will make an indentation so people can tell the different posts apart. And I hope it isn't just admins who can get the funky colours or i'm in trouble! You can create them by posting the right code for whatever design you want into the "signature" box on your preferences; if you'd like one made i'd be happy to design it for you. I also do userpage design if you need it, and I spend most of my time at NPP/reverting vandalism, so if you need any help/editing advice feel free to drop me a line (I basically live here, so getting hold of me isn't an issue). Yup, it worked fine :). If you make more than 1 paragraph you'll have to do it again for the new paragraph, btw. Suredy, sendy the msn over! As you said, nice to meet new people :). If you say how you'd like it to look in terms of layout (i.e mine with different colours, or something with a border, so on) then i'll work on it meself. For articles there's a list at Wikipedia:Requested articles of missing ones people want, and google works quite well. If you see my [User:Ironholds/CP|created pages]] all of them have been done with google (well, other than the musicy ones, i'm a big music person). Ironholds 06:52, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The basshunter song? Nice. Adding ye now. Ironholds 06:57, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
