Disclosure

Hi Ane wiki! There's no major problem with your work on the Tim Leffel article, but you will need to disclose your full affiliation - under the new terms of use, people paid to edit Wikipedia need to make a clear statement that they are being paid, who hired them and who their client is. I greatly appreciate that you mentioned that you have a relationship with Tim Leffel, but the requirements now are a bit stronger, so the additional statement is required. On the plus side, you have a lot of room as to where to make the disclosure - probably the best place is Talk:Tim Leffel, but you can also use your user page, or mention it in edit summaries. - Bilby (talk) 06:42, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

I've spent enough time on this mess. As far as I can tell the farm is indeed for sale (see Talk:Nature's Harmony Farm#Sale info moved from article. So, it looks like the user who hired you not only didn't tell you that he was blocked, but was also less than honest about his farm being for sale. If you are going to do paid editing you need to know the rules, verify the information you are adding, and not edit on behalf of blocked editors. You're up at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Skynyrdman Meters (talk) 04:35, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

I saw your comment about selling the farm. I sent a message to the owner asking for an explanation, to clarify this situation for once. If the farm is actually on sale I do not understand why the owner would deny that information. Anyway, I want to clarify that I never had bad intentions in editing the article, only adapt to the rules of Wikipedia.--Ane wiki (talk) 05:02, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

I believe you. You seem to be trying to do things properly. I think you got dropped into a bad situation. My edit summary about my wp:AGF being stretched enough was in reference to the owner, not you. My apologies. I put you up at SPI because I think it is time for the owner to deal with this mess himself if he can convince an admin to unblock him. I warned him before that his actions were not helping his case, and hiring a paid editor and seemingly giving you incorrect information are just going to make it harder. Thank you for your trust. And I understand your point, also your actions. But there must be an explanation for the issue of the sale of the farm. Tomorrow I'll see what is the response of the owner and will comment on the discussion page. Thank you again. --Ane wiki (talk) 06:43, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
