Speedy deletion nomination of Chemotional[edit]

Hello Ameninhat,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Chemotional for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

Chemotional[edit]

I'm afraid Wikipedia is not the place to promote your new word. As reviewing administrator, I have declined the speedy-deletion nomination, because this does not fit its criteria; but it is still not suitable, so I have proposed it for deletion - formal notice below.

To explain in more detail, see WP:Wikipedia is not a dictionary#Neologisms, and also the fundamental policy WP:No original research, which includes:

"If no reliable third-party sources can be found on a topic, Wikipedia should not have an article about it. If you discover something new, Wikipedia is not the place to announce such a discovery."

I did find this 1998 paper, but it seems to be using the word in a different and more restricted sense.

Proposed deletion of Chemotional[edit]

The article Chemotional has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia does not publish original research. There are no references except the author's book, and I have found none, to indicate that this neologism meets WP:Notability or WP:NEO.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Conflict of interest and original research[edit]

You are trying to add your own self-published research. Please read WP:COI and WP:NOR. You attempted to publicise this research by creating an article for it and now you are trying to use Alphabet to publicise it. You also persistently tried to push a word you invented and another book. There's a clear pattern here and you seem to be interested only in self publicity.
