You added a nice photo to Carlsbad, California. Just a suggestion; if you crop the photo so it's very wide (cut out most of the sky) it would make a nice panorama. I could then upload it as a wide image. See Hoohoo, West Virginia for an example. No pressure, it's your pic and totally fine the way it is. Magnolia677 (talk) 12:07, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Done! The link is at File:Mount calavera panorama (cropped).jpg. I hope that is cropped enough. --Alicezeppelin (talk) 17:59, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced biographical details[edit]

Hi. I wanted to explain why I reverted this edit. You didn't include a source for the biographical content that you added. If you have trouble figuring out how to use WIkipedia's citations, you can as for help at the tea house or help desk. Or you could ask on my user talk page, and I'll try to assist you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 17:30, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize! I just got the date off of the Arabic version of the page, but I just assumed that that was enough. I'm also curious as to why you removed the (-present) part from the article, when all other articles with that infobox include this. --Alicezeppelin (talk) 02:49, 24 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The biographies on the Arabic-language Wikipedia are frequently vandalized by a hoaxer. I've been reverting him on various language Wikipedias for several months now, but there are still a lot of articles that are incorrect. You can see some of the investigation in this sock puppetry case. Unfortunately, I don't understand Arabic at all, so it's extremely difficult for me to clean up the vandalism and hoaxes over there, and I tend to focus more on English and French Wikipedia, which are easier for me to edit. This hoaxer is one of the reasons why you should always cite a reliable source. You never know who submitted the information to Wikipedia, the IMDb, or other user-generated websites. I re-added the "–present" thing, as I didn't notice that also got removed. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:48, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok. I didn't occur to me that vandalism was such a widespread issue. Thanks for the heads up. --Alicezeppelin (talk) 10:21, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
