@Alexis Jazz: The RfC looks good to me. And I'm already in the support column, unless someone comes up with a huge technical issue. But, I've a problem with the dark mode gadget, which you've referred to in the RFC. When a IP user (and several long-time editors too) clicks the "dark mode" in the menu, they would not expect that the actual "dark mode" button would be hidden under the ••• menu at the top right of Vector 2022, which will be the default skin sooner or later. I think the toggle button part of the gadget can be skipped, and clicking dark mode directly from the menu should enable/disable it. —CX Zoom[he/him] ^{(let's talk • {C•X})} 12:08, 26 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

CX Zoom, the list of scripts has to specified in both MediaWiki:Common.js and MediaWiki:Mobile.js because mobile won't load Common.js and desktop won't load Mobile.js.
