Ric Flair's World Championships

I've noticed that you and TJ Spyke have reverted edits made to the WWE Hall of Fame article regarding the number of world titles Ric Flair has won. The thing is that the facts as they actually are, and not merely World Wrestling Entertainment's interpretation of them, should be listed. Flair's actual tally of world title runs can be disputed and argued to some degree. Now, the WWE recognizes Ric Flair as a 16-time World Champion and that's fine for the WWE. It's just that not everyone in pro wrestling agrees with that. And since there isn't any single governing body over all of pro wrestling that determines what's what, there really can be no overriding "official" tallying of Flair's world title reigns. Now, even though the WWE says Flair is a six time WCW World Champion, the fact remains that he actually did win matches that gave him a total of eight at one time. Now, since everything WCW is now WWE property, the WWE has the right to recognize any or all of Flair's reigns with any WCW title. Wikipedia isn't saying that Flair's other two WCW title reigns should necessarily count, but the fact he held the title two additional times can't be erased by waving a magic wand. Now, as to the NWA Championship, it's a different story. The WWE has no control over the lineage of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship as it's not a championship that they own. The National Wrestling Alliance recognizes Ric Flair as a teb time NWA champ according to the lineage of the title listed on the NWA's official website. While Wikipedia can't call Flair "officially" an eight time WCW Champion, it can refer to him as a 10 time NWA Champion because the NWA itself recognizes him as such.Odin's Beard (talk) 22:28, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Windham Rotunda edit

Hi. Regarding this edit: while you are correct that Trent Barreta is a member of the Dudebusters, in FCW, the Dudebusters was a stable of Curt Hawkins, Beretta and Croft, and it was actually the team of Hawkins and Croft that defeated the Rotundos to win the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship.
