Proposed deletion of Methods for the timely replacement of cartridges in respirators[edit]

The article Methods for the timely replacement of cartridges in respirators has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Per WP:NOTHOWTO

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ...William 14:43, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The reason for the proposal to delete this article is at the link WP:NOTHOWTO which says WP does not have articles on 'how to' do things, it has informative articles, so see that link to find the rational. The article is Proposed for Deletion (prodded), a fast method of uncontested deletes; anyone can remove the template {{Proposed deletion/dated...}} to contest it and the person who proposed for deletion could then go through the entire AFD procedure but not restore the prod template. If, after reading WP:NOTHOWTO, you think it should be retained you can remove the prod template. Please ask if you have further questions. RJFJR (talk) 17:09, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Nikolai Izmerov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.icohweb.org/site/news-detail.asp?id=120. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Clarification needed template removed? Hundred or hundreds?[edit]

Hello. This notification has to do with a page you've edited recently. On this page, you removed a clarification needed template tagging the words "and published hundred papers". Could you clarify if you can on my talk page whether hundred is plural or singular, if latter, please specify the amount (if possible). I will edit the page accordingly. Thank you for your contributions. (Mr. Holup (talk) 23:11, 17 February 2019 (UTC))[reply]

Workplace respirator testing ↔ Испытания респираторов в производственных условиях[edit]

Hi! Was Workplace respirator testing based on a translation of the text of ru:Испытания респираторов в производственных условиях? We need to make sure there is proper attribution for the authors of the Russian article. ☆ Bri (talk) 23:49, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Saw your reply on my talkpage, replying here to keep things together. Could you please put the {{translated page}} template on pages translated from Russian? ☆ Bri (talk) 20:31, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, AlexChirkin! I made elastomeric respirator. I cited some information on chemical cartridges. Are the cites useful for chemical cartridge? HLHJ (talk) 00:07, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Good afternoon. I looked at Your article. Thank You for Your work. May be the translation quality is low, please - look at it. It may make sense for You to add information to it: the NIOSH manual has specific guidelines for choosing respirators; and when gas cartridges should not be used. As for chemical cartridge... In my humble opinion, the best solution is to go beyond the limits set by the requirements for Wikipedia articles. That is, to translate the scientific-based textbook into English. But, as You can see, I don't know Your language well, and the quality of translation may not be enough high everywhere... Good Luck To You! AlexChirkin (talk) 12:59, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hearing protection device, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page OSHA. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
