Citation errors[edit]

Hi Agustin6, could you please look at the errors in red in the reference sections of Página/12 and Dirty War, which you've recently edited and see if you can fix them? On Página/12, the issue seems to be mostly 'cite' parameters that are still in Spanish, which makes it look like content there may have been copied from another Wikipedia. That's a valuable way of getting content into the English Wikipedia, but please do see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia#Translating from other language Wikimedia projects for some instructions related to it, and please translate the parameters as well as the words. On Dirty War the issue seems to be that you removed some content that included references that were relied on later. The fix to that is probably to copy the references out of the article history to use in the places in the article that are still trying to use them. Hi. I apologise for the delayed reply. I have two accounts "Usernamekiran", and "Usernamekiran (AWB)". I rarely check the AWB a/c for notifications. Regarding the article talkpage, yes it seems like nobody sees that page according to these stats. However, the stats for actual article are pretty healthy. You did everything correctly, but seems like either nobody saw it, are if someone saw then they were not interested to work on it. I will post your query to certain wikiprojects soon. They might be able to improve the article. Also, after posting there, I will let you know where I posted it. So that you will get a general idea of how to get help. Also once you get the idea of how collaboration on wikipedia generally goes around, you will find it very easy and interesting to improve the articles.

Usernamekiran (AWB) , UsernamekiranIm sorry, can I make you one more question? I think there is a user stalking me (?) and erasing every edit I make, for, he says, not being neutral and I'm using as source the newspaper Pagina 12 which he says is far left wing propaganda. (I invited him on the History of every article to the Talk page and wrote this https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Operation_Condor&action=edit&section=32, but I dont think is going to be resolved) So it is there somewhere I can make my edits being checked for more people to make a desition about if I making something wrong (or not neutral)? I'm doing this just for fun, if other people on wikipedia thinks I'm doing something wrong it's ok, but this thing with this particular user is getting kind of weird. Thank you.

Some thoughts about learning Wikipedia[edit]

Hi Agustin6. I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Wikipedia: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Wikipedia by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily.

Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.

If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Wikipedia's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter.

Some topic areas within Wikipedia have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.

You appear to be editing anonymously. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in both your account and IP address being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Hi Sro23 (talk), Ok, thanks; I didn't knew it was shown as separated accounts; about the IP, I don't use my pc for anything important nor credit cards, so it's ok.
Anyway I'm leaving the english section; the spanish version of wikipedia is smaller and better organized, this is the far west in comparison; I been mainly translating articles from there to here, and I cannot ask for help every time a user reverts edits just because of his poliical view on the sources (sources which are commonly used on the articles in the spanish section).

I been leaving messages on users' what? I opened a section on the Discusion page of the Santiago Maldonado article in spanish, where there is dozens of contributors who knows the case better than me and, obviously, better than you, about what you are doing here on this article as if it's your property and made out of your biased views, which is something I got no patience to change and re-build by myself alone. (like i.e. Forced dissapearance is a former hypotesis? that is EXACTLY the folder of the case in investigation, unless you are a member of the family of any of the possible murderers or responsables of Maldonado's death is hard to understand what you are doing)

I have left you this warning because the message you posted is a partisan one, meant to bring users from only one side of the dispute.
