January 2009[edit]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Oneness Pentecostalism, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits.   This advisory also encompasses your unwarranted and unexplained deletions of portions of the articles Pentecostalism, Black Fast and Fasting. Mike Doughney (talk) 04:08, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Although the information in the articles Fasting and also Black Fast were correct and had valid sources, those sources were improperly cited. I have contacted the person who placed these here and they have agreed to place them back when able to properly cite sources. Agciorg (talk) 04:25, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am very sorry. I will try to remedy this at my earliest convenience, but this may not be any time soon. Thank you. Bowerman1010 (talk) 04:39, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dr. Curtis D. Ward, Dr. Marvin Arnold, and William Chalfant are popular authors within Pentecostal circles but not within mainstream secular historical circles. Only mainstream authors should be cited. Agciorg (talk) 04:26, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss such changes on the article's talk page(s) and gain consensus from other editors before performing wholesale deletions of material supported by references. Mike Doughney (talk) 04:28, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Oneness Pentecostalism, you will be blocked from editing.   Please do not delete whole sections of page content without first proposing your edits on the article's talk page. Discussions are already occurring on that page regarding this article. Please work with other editors to obtain consensus before making large changes to the article. Mike Doughney (talk) 13:45, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is very obvious that Mr. Doughney is part of the evangelical movement and therefore biased. If evangelicals want credibility they should assimilate into estabished secular academia.Agciorg (talk) 15:37, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that ONLY secular mainstream authors publishing through secular mainstream publishing companies be cited in the articles. Agciorg (talk) 15:32, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

consensus[edit]

While I understand your desire that the article be accurate, please realize that no one person owns an article. There needs to be a reason for deleting a whole section. You have not provided an adequate one. Any problems with the section or article should be discussed with other editors, who by the way were working on this article before you came on board. We know there are problems with the article. Take a look back and see what it looked like a month ago. Please be courteous with other editors and assume good faith without making accusations of bias. Your welcome to help, but we must do this in a constructive way. We need to discuss these issues on the talk page. Consensus needs to be reached. Ltwin (talk) 19:02, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
