User:Bog5576[edit]

I am concerned that your editing patterns match, exactly, that of recently blocked editor User:Bog5576. Can you please explain to me why this is the case? Usterday (talk) 15:00, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I hear your cause for concern. I looked into into user:bog5576. He was banned for vandalism on Sylvester turner's page. AfricaUniteJamming (talk) 17:59, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately I do not find your explanation very convincing. First, you have only a handful of edits, and yet appear to know how to look into the edit histories of other users, which is highly unusual. Second, your only edits match the pages and themes of Bog5576 exactly, with your Sylvester Turner edits being only one hour apart, and then, all of the sudden after never editing again until Bog5576 was indeffed, you return within less than half a day to repeat his same edits: see here. Once an account is indeffed, it means the user themselves are no longer allowed to edit Wikipedia--not that they can open a new account or return to an older one. That breaches the rule WP:EVADE. Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bog5576, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. Usterday (talk) 06:57, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
