The Marching Band Thing[edit]

I'm not sure what to say about whether or not the band being discussed at User talk:M79 specialist/Charles Page High School Marching Band is notable enough for an article. Could you state what you think? Cheers, -- THLR 06:33, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. -- THLR 23:09, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seth Swirsky[edit]

I have deleted all the reviews from the Seth Swirsky page and added some citations. Could you let me know what else needs to be changed to adhere to the neutrality regulations? Thanks, jheditorials 10:56, 11 December 2006

Belgische namen[edit]

SportsAddicted | discuss 12:31, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Paramus Flying Club[edit]

Hello, You deleted the Paramus Flying Club with a statement of "not notable".

Under WP definitions of notability for "clubs, societies, and organizations", it indicates:

"A club, society, or organization is notable if it meets any of the following criteria:

The club, society, or organization has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the club, society, or organization itself."

Note that multiple independent press sources had written about this organization, some of them quite notable in the New York State area of the United States. Furthermore, additional story links were being posted while you were in the process of deleting. As the longest freestanding organization of its type in an entire US region, it has obtained quite a notable standing.

If the issue is with non-neutrality, I ask you provide the opportunity to edit the text such that it is a higher level of neutrality.

Should this article still not meet your definition of notability, could you provide some guidance in what additional support you would need. Note that a discussion had been started to support this, but you had deleted it.

Re Openserving[edit]

I am Surprised about your comment Sir/Lady, and ofcourse more surprised by you deleting the page. "Openserving" is owned by WikiPedia! It is not an ABC company that requires some one's advertisement! It is the very new idea of wiki on Opensource. Please Read Tech-News (e.g. Google Tech news- Monday) for updating your information. For more info read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Openserving .Next time, before jumping to delete a new page, PLEASE do a SIMPLE google search. It should not take more than a few seconds. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Shemshak (talkcontribs) 03:06, 14 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

The Unknown[edit]

[This comment is not posted by me (shemshak). I just seperated it from my own comment]

Hi Aecis,

You deleted my link to cornucopia at http://www.wwcoins.com/cgi/search?cs=cornucopia

That is fine. The word SPAM you used is not fine. This was not a SPAM an genuine belief that this kind work will be useful to the people. Yes, I want to attract people to my site so that people get benefit from it. Believe me the time and effort I spend on this project is huge. Ads next to it does not do anything. If you concern about those adds I can remove it.

At the same time please go to internet and find one site ( in millions of sites ) that allow you to identify coins just like my site, I will stop doing development the next day.

Have you ever wondered how many roman coins have cornucopia on them? How many roman coins have nero and cornucopia on them? (for now I have 5) How many coins have cornucopia, caduceus and caracalla on them? (for now I have 9)

Please spent some time in this site, before labelling it as a SPAM. It is also fine if you would like general public not the access this site, I enjoy doing it.

Regards, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Seyhanersoy (talkcontribs)

Just curious[edit]

Why do you have a link to your nearly year-old RfA in your signature? —Doug Bell talk 06:44, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dare to be Digital[edit]

Thank you for your interest in the entry for Dare to be Digital but it is disappointing that you have deleted the entry Please consider reinstating it. The entry did not constitute advertising. Also, the competition is notable - it has been established since 1999 and has many high profile supporters who have spoken highly of the talent produced through the event. It is no different (apart from the length of incorporation) to festivals such as the Cannes Film Festival. Please take time to visit the website at [1] to understand this competition better before jumping to conclusions that the entry constitutes advertising. Thanks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.60.161.161 (talk) 17:35, 15 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]
