Sorry[edit]

Sorry for being a little harsh. It looks like you are new here. Us admins usually are dealing with 2-3-4-5 of these kind of disputes all at one and it can get to us. I appreciate your patience and your kind words. --Woohookitty(cat scratches) 06:47, 7 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Salutations[edit]

Thanks for the message AdinaBob, you can call me Pat. I'm from the Ottawa region and try to go to as many EVCO meetings as possible. So, you heard about the "motorized bicycle" article through my post on EVCO? That was a few weeks ago I think, right? Now you see I wouldn't have been surprised if the opposite was true, you hearing about EVCO through this page. Cool. Well if ever you need some advice on electric bikes, a chat about business or experimenting with various model bikes, give me a message. B.t.w. What region are you from in Canada? Cheers. --CyclePat 05:32, 8 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I may take you up on your offer of advice. Until recently, my parents lived in Ottawa. I lived there from 1996-2003. Now I'm in Kingston going to Queen's.AdinaBob 20:17, 8 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Looks much better. I'll have to find an appropriate stub notice for it to alert other users to expand it. Thanks for letting me know! - Lucky 6.9 05:57, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello AdinaBob! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 939 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Ludovic Albar - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Philippe Goy - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 15:28, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ludovic Albar has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I can find no substantial third-party coverage to suggest this article's subject meets WP:BIO requirements

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I can only find a few reliable sources about this author, lacks notability.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Benoit Geers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Oddbodz (talk) 16:11, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Thierry Acot-Mirande has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Essentially unreferenced BLP - the only citations are WorldCat links which do nothing but prove he wrote the novels. There is nothing to establish notability via WP:GNG or WP:AUTHOR.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
