A great day in Leamington Spa[edit]

Just to double check - are you absolutely sure you want to release this photo under a "Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International license", as you've done over at Wikimedia Commons? This allows anybody in the world to reuse it for any purpose (even a commercial one) without paying you a penny for it. The only legal requirement is that they credit you as the photographer somewhere.

If you did intend to do this - great! Thanks for releasing it. If you didn't fully appreciate the ramifications, you can request that the image be removed from Wikimedia Commons by going to https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Great-day-in-Leamington-Spa-original.jpg and editing the page to add {{speedy|Author requests deletion.}} to the top. Drop me a line on my talk page if you have any questions. --McGeddon (talk) 18:36, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, wait, is it your photo, or Duncan Hill's? You credit Duncan on the Wikipedia article, but said "Source: Own work" when uploading File:Great-day-in-Leamington-Spa-original.jpg. --McGeddon (talk) 18:38, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
(To be on the safe side I'll go ahead and flag both versions of this image as possibly being by Duncan Hill and hence needing his explicit permission, which means it'll get deleted after a week if that permission isn't forthcoming, and will hopefully give pause to anyone thinking of reusing it in that time. You're welcome to provide that permission or request deletion of the images, from here. Again, drop me a line if you've got any questions about all this.) --McGeddon (talk) 18:58, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
