Hi Adam. I noticed that earlier this month you decided to change the inline links in the Corby article to footnotes. I'm sure you meant it for the best but it does seem impolite to make this change without first securing consensus on the talk page per the guidelines on converting citation styles. Perhaps a post to the talk page explaining your actions would be a good idea? Duncan Keith 17:38, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for taking the time to do that Adam. Duncan Keith 19:35, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing my change from last night. I've no idea what happened, as far as I know I was reverting a vandal's name change, but the history does not show that, it looks like I just inserted the wrong name out of nowhere. --ArmadilloFromHellGateBridge 14:37, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Your recent edit to Ray Toro (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. Bob Dylan

Hi, I agree with you that the 4 para intoduction is much better than 1 para intro plus the unnecessary 'Background' feature. I'm not very good at fixing format things, but I certainly agree with you. Regards Mick gold 16:43, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

IP 84.148.123.214

I have warned IP 84.148.123.214 about WP:3rr which he has already violated and then some by continuing to try and divide the intro. Please report him appropriately if he puts his version back again. I would myself but I'm heading out the door and wont be back on to check for at least 24 hours. GoodnightmushTalk 11:45, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

I've reported him just now. I'm going to leave his latest edit in place until this is resolved. Adam McMaster 14:51, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

You recently warned the above user for vandalism at Table. Please be aware that after several traceroute runs, whois dns checks, and a google search this IP has been resolved to k12.sau6.nh (School Administrative Unit #6) My conclusion is based on the fact that the host name from the DNS Traceroute and whois matches the server name of this website. Subsequently, you may get little or no response from this user regarding your warning. Henceforth, I am investigating any further vandalism incidents by this IP address and gathering a record to be given to the proper authority in the near future. If you would like to assist me, I would be happy to have your help. Thanks.

I'd be happy to help. What would you like me to do exactly? Adam McMaster 08:10, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Well for now the school has been blocked by User: Alphachimp --Amaraiel 14:57, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey there. I've removed the WP:CSD#A7 tag you placed on Image:Travishilemanface.jpg, as CSD Ax only apply to articles. As much as I understand your reasoning if, as I assume, the image once belonged in an article speedy deleted under A7, there's no way anyone can label an image as "not asserting notability". Just thought I'd point that out. Have a good day - Zeibura S. Kathau (Info | Talk) 01:24, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Shock Site edit war

Whoops sorry for editing your Userpage instead of talk page. Anyways, shock site edit war should not be deleted, as it is describing a part of history. Internet-history yes, but thats still history, just as much as WO2 is history. So please refrain from adding speedy deletion marks if you dont agree with the content, you should be objective... Ravo5002 09:49, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

I'm being completely objective. I agree that it is history, so far as it is something which has happened, but that doesn't make it notable. The page has been tagged, and we can let the admins decide. Adam McMaster 09:54, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

D Generation

I've reverted back to the version you edited, I can see no reason why Daddy Kindsoul should have reverted your edits. The Rambling Man 08:13, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

She was nominated for a Grammy for her first album. According to the Recording Academy, she is a Grammy winner for the O Brother, Where Art Thou soundtrack. See here, enter "Gillian Welch" as artist. All of the various artists on the soundtrack were awarded grammys. - Crockspot 23:13, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Whiskeytown fair use rationale

Thanks for taking care of that for me, because I was on vacation and didn't get a chance to catch it right away. - Stick Fig 16:54, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Housefly

A day after your edit about the common housefly, a user whos profile cant be reached, i think it might be deleted or something changed the article to reflect the housefly used to be the most common fly occuring in homes. Is this correct? I dont think it is and i think you should change it. I assume you know more about the subject than me. If the housefly is not the most common then what is? Roadrunnerz45 13:44, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

I'm afraid I don't know anything about the subject. My edit to the article was simply to correct the usage of Template:Unreferenced. I suggest that you raise this topic on Talk:Housefly. Adam McMaster 20:19, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Show preview

Hello, thank you for your edits to Harlan Ellison. Your copy edits and corrections are much appreciated. However, rather than saving each of your attempts, it's much better to make liberal use of the "Show preview" button, which allows you to see the results of your edit before you hit the "save page" button. That way, all of those edits which have essentially the same purpose don't clog up the edit history. Hope this has been helpful, and happy editing! Sbacle (talk) 23:14, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
