Quick clarification

Regarding this edit here, I referred to Cobblepot as "Don" not because that's his name (which it's not) but because "Don" is a title for a crime boss (much like Don Falcone and Don Maroni). To avoid further confusion, I did not revert your edit but I did think that it was worth clarifying. Darkknight2149 (talk) 21:28, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Draft:2017-18 United States network television schedule, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://digplanet.com/wiki/2016%E2%80%9317_United_States_network_television_schedule.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Proposed deletion of Dirty Tennis

The article Dirty Tennis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NFILM. Only reference doesn't mention the film; ELs provide only routine coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. But why they aren't allowed? In the previous season pages always when a show got more episodes they still put them on the full season pick ups but not now, it was always like that check the other pages, look i know they aren't full seasons but i think they still have to be there it was always that way it happened with How to Get Away With Murder, Chicago PD and others why not now, English isn't my first language so sorry if you don't understand parts of what i am saying, i just want to let you know that i think that they have to be allowed to be on the full season orders because it was always like that with the other shows Jtcs 507 (talk) 15:56, 21 November 2015 (UTC)

Removal of age from infoboxes

Why do you say that the age segment is only used on people with biographies? {{Start date and age}} has over 22 thousand transclusions, and most of them look like they are used on non-person articles. {{Birth date and age}} is used for people. Furthermore, the documentation on many infobox templates actually instruct editors to use {{Start date and age}}—see {{Infobox website}} for example. —Laoris (talk) 14:35, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

CSD tagging

Just a quick note, if you're the only major contributor to a page on Wikipedia, you can always tag it with CSD G7 to delete it. This is useful because items correctly tagged as G7 are basically always deleted, while self-created speedy deletion reasons may not be applicable criteria for speedy deletion. ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 19:48, 9 June 2016 (UTC)

Your recent edits

Hi. I noticed that you've been adding information about distributors to film infoboxes. Per {{infobox film}}, only the original theatrical distributor should be listed in the infobox. I don't think it's particularly important who owns the current distribution rights to a film. At any rate, this information is inappropriate for infobox. If you must add it to an article, please do it in a "release" section, though I generally think it's too trivial to include in an encyclopedia. This is the sort of information that belongs in an external link, such as the IMDb. Also, I don't understand why you're replacing {{Rotten Tomatoes}} with {{rotten-tomatoes}}. Could you explain why you're doing that? {{rotten-tomatoes}} is a redirect to the proper template, {{Rotten Tomatoes}}. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:49, 30 June 2016 (UTC)

Maybe I'm missing something

How on earth were these edits vandalism? Do you know that edits, if they're problematic, have to be deliberately damaging before they're considered vandalism? Do you know that you aren't supposed to report anybody to WP:AIV until they've shown the desire to repeatedly vandalize things? RunnyAmiga (talk) 22:59, 7 August 2016 (UTC)

I'm restoring this even though it's usually not advised because Adam, please respond to this question (and don't just blank it; this attitude of ignoring things needs to stop). You've been here a very long time and know better. That edit was clearly an editor that has improved from being problematic to being a credit to the project. They were trying to make the article look better but did not know we have certain standards which must be taken into mind regarding images. I have left them a clear explanation about WP:ACCESS, which should have been done rather than an empty template scold about vandalism. Nate (chatter) 23:48, 7 August 2016 (UTC)

Three minutes later, before KyloRen123 had a chance to possibly re-add the unsourced claim, you reported him, saying you "even gave him [sic] a warning about what would happen if he [sic] does it again". So your report came before they did it again. Why are you still making these mistakes? RunnyAmigatalk 19:27, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

You are in violation again, reprimanding a good faith editor, assuming ownership of the article. Keep it up and you might find yourself banned. LLArrow (talk) 20:19, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. –Davey2010Talk 22:52, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

Edits like this are not helpful to the community and are only useful to your own edit count, something you should rarely look at and focus more on edit quality. Stop micromanaging image descriptions; the template doesn't care about capitalization, nor do the vast majority of editors. Nate (chatter) 23:38, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

Sortkeys for Star Wars movies

While I have no objection to use of Roman Numerals in the human-readable part of the article, please don't ue them as sortkeys. Sortkeys are designed to make sure that the pages are in the correct order in the category listing, and ROman Numerals are in the wrong order - e.g IX comes before V (yes, the Star Warts movies are planned to go that far). עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 12:58, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

National varieties of English

Information icon In a recent edit to the page V for Vendetta (film), you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to India, use Indian English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 17:59, 21 February 2017 (UTC)

"Cutesy" edit summaries

Adam, once again a reminder to avoid your not-so-clever edit summaries. They have to be understood by all users, including those who may speak limited English and not understand English-language euphemisms. Use clear, simple phrases, not expressions such as "gone to the dogs". That type of editing can reasonably be viewed as disruptive. ----Dr.Margi 21:04, 25 June 2017 (UTC)

No zeros allowed

Hi there. I'm a little confused by your editing of all the Star Wars articles to remove the 0 from the filmdate template stating 'No zeros allowed'. In the template not only are zeroes allowed (as clearly indicated by the way the templates are clearly working fine in the article to translate to months) but are defacto the standard due to being used in every example for the template's use. Additionally WP:DATE doesn't prescribe against their use. So can you explain why you're removing the dates with the edit summary "No zeros allowed." Cheers. Deletion discussion about Underwater Adventures

Hello, AdamDeanHall,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Underwater Adventures should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Underwater Adventures .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

The article Venom ER has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non notable television program with few third party references

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, AdamDeanHall. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Amazing Stories".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. TKK! bark with me! 22:22, 9 December 2017 (UTC)

You really need to learn what constitutes vandalism. This warning to User:Kailash29792 was also inappropriate. Kailash29792 did not in anyway vandalize the page you accused them to vandalizing; they were merely adding web archive links to existing refs to preserve what the page looked like at the time it was cited. If you look at the edits carefully, you'll see the user did not tag any of the references as dead links; in fact the user's edit summary said "tagging 0 [sources] as dead". 青い(Aoi) (talk) 00:06, 27 February 2018 (UTC)

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 10:32, 15 April 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:53, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

Notice

The article Global Passport has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable TV show canceled after a single episode

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 10:17, 10 September 2018 (UTC)

War of the Worlds (TV series)

Generally trust your editing, but can you please provide a source for S2 being named "The Morthren Saga"? I couldn't immediately find anything to corroborate this. Thanks! DonIago (talk) 17:27, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
