Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Somalia, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Bosaso  with this edit, without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 20:30, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

June 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Somali Armed Forces may have broken the syntax by modifying 4 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 15:22, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've taken the liberty of transferring the content to President of Somalia - please feel free to continue working on it there.

Keep up the good work, and happy editing! --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:09, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Contests[edit]

User:Dr. Blofeld has created Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/Contests. The idea is to run a series of contests/editathons focusing on each region of Africa. He says he's thinking of North Africa for an inaugural one in October. Disambiguation link notification for August 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (Somalia), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Institute of Statistics. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Judiciary of Somalia into Politics of Somalia. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 00:28, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

okay, I got it now, thank you Abdullsaed (talk) 08:42, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Somali Armed Forces[edit]

I am just about to revert your butchering of Somali Armed Forces. Do that again to any article which has a large number of good sourced pieces of data in it, and I will block you. ADD DATA, DON'T REMOVE IT!! As for too big - go and have a look at the relevant rule, WP:SIZERULE, which this article complies with. Buckshot06 (talk) 20:20, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making disruptive edits.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing.

I am also about to roll back your removal of 30,000 bytes at Politics of Somalia. REMOVING SOURCED DATA GOES AGAINST THE PRINCIPLES OF THE PROJECT. DO THIS AGAIN AND I WILL BLOCK YOU, PERMANENTLY. Buckshot06 (talk) 20:31, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You cannot remove chunks of history from Wikipedia merely because of WP:IDONTLIKEIT - WP is for all the history, from a WP:Neutral Point of View. Buckshot06 (talk) 21:00, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Having gone over User:MER-C's previous warning, I've changed my mind and blocked you for disruptive editing, for three weeks. This is primarily because of POV removal of content from Somali Armed Forces and Politics of Somalia, while claiming "improvement" to the articles. Feel free to appeal via all the usual methods. Buckshot06 (talk) 21:11, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Politics of Somalia was outdated and disturbing chronology before you judge look how and why i did it you could see from WP:Neutral Point of View that Politics was all about history but not the current situation that why i thought i could help, plus much of the text you rolled back can be found (History of Somalia) please one more time look it back and see the difference and which page is more presentable to you from natural point of view .
and for Somali Armed Forces i must admit i made mistake i thought this could make it much more organized content, lesson it learnt i will not remove (30k without consent) now could you see my perspective Buckshot06 could you do something about it now , i just got warning +block , that warning you consider is not related these ( i was new user at that time) thank you looking forward to hear from you Abdullsaed (talk) 08:34, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

also i copied content from Somali Armed Forces (content in this section was copied from Somali Armed Forces, Please see the history of that page for attribution) to (Military History of Somalia) you didn't see that +26k text in Military History that proves i was not only removing, but i was organizing it, i hope you will understand.Abdullsaed (talk) 08:39, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Politics of Somalia was outdated and disturbing chronology i didn't just removed data, same with Somali Armed Forces i moved the content in Military History of Somalia, and History of Somalia respectively, you could have warn me and tell me not to move but i did not simply remove it and i will consent before moving these kind of Data in the future, now unblock me thanksAbdullsaed (talk) 07:23, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This does not address the reason for your block, which is that you have set up other accounts to continue editing. Yamla (talk) 14:39, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I cannot resolve this, being the admin who blocked you, but I will say that removing material because it is "disturbing" is an admission that you WP:IDONTLIKEIT, and removal of huge blocks for sourced content for this reason is simple censorship. POV editing is not permitted on wikipedia. Buckshot06 (talk) 08:21, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Remember i did add some sections including judicial branch, (so technically i did not only remove but organize like other countries politics, look for example other countries Politics page is not like Somalia but rather organized like i did) so judicial branch is not currently in politics page, Is it okay to you sources which come from News bullets (but not ok Judicial branch which have ref from the Constitution) Abdullsaed (talk) 08:43, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
so to accused me i remove things because i didn't like it is simply not true , there is a lot of things i don't like but i don't remove it ,Truth to be told i was trying to make it more presentable, you can review it again and see what you are accusing me Buckshot06 (talk), I think you misjudge me.Abdullsaed (talk) 09:22, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
