Welcome to my talk page. Feel free to make a comment. Aastrup 17:53, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article Lévy's convergence theorem has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is basically a duplicate of a part of Dominated convergence theorem, but with a wrong name: no reference has been found where Lévy is credited. See the talk page for more info.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --GaborPete (talk) 15:46, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fairy tales[edit]

Just wanted to congratulate you on your fine additions to the articles of Andersen's fairy tales. Very nice. I once started with an extensive fairy tale project on Wikipedia but I haven't really been updating anything in the last few months. Keep up the good work! --Steerpike 13:58, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have added some new synopses of fairytales by HC Andersen. Feel free to add pictures! You seem to find better pictures than I do :) I added synopses to The Swineherd, The Red Shoes, The Story of a Mother, The Wild Swans. I found a picture for The Swineherd by Vilhelm Pedersen, which I like, but I'm not not a fan of all his HC Andersen illustrations. Tinepippi 10:07, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Please, if you are uploading images you took, do so at commons:. That way, they will be available to all the wikipedias and not only to the English one. Mariano(t/c) 12:07, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I'll do that. - Aastrup 17:51, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nominated your image. Regards, Samsara (talk  contribs) 10:57, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm flattered. Aastrup (talk) 12:04, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Angua von Überwald, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://en.wikivisual.com/index.php/Angua. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Copy-n-Paste Moves[edit]

Please do not make copy-n-paste moves as you did with Angua von Uberwald to Angua von Überwald. Copy-n-paste moves shouldn't be done as they disassociate the edit history which causes GFDL compliance issues. You should move pages instead. I have fixed this one. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. -- JLaTondre 03:03, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Sigilum Facultatis Iuridicæ.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sigilum Facultatis Iuridicæ.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 11:27, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Phooey Duck.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Phooey Duck.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Denniss (talk) 17:28, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:Christian Aastrup.JPG or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
