Thanks.

Hi Aalox,
Thanks for the good thoughts and the barnstar. I feel good about it. So, you might have noticed that I removed it. I did that only so the named editors wouldn't see themselves singled out. I also generally like to keep a low profile. Good good good though, and thanks.

I assumed that was the reason when I saw the revert. Good call. Just wanted to make sure you knew your good deeds were noticed, and keep it up! - Aalox (Say HelloMy Work) 15:13, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

Green Bay and Western Map

Hi.

This is Wickiframk. Thank you for the offer of help. I did a few schematics in Wikipedias earlier days but the process seems to have got much more complicated. I can send you a list of principal places on the line. I am a member of the GBW Historical society and when the basic map is up can get you some information on correct orientation of junctions (might even be able to edit it myself!). There is also a published history but it is probably only in a few local libraries (see GBW article). Information on which sections of line are still in use is within the article.--Wickifrank (talk) 13:09, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

Wickiframk, I've started your map here. I will need some help with details, such as which stations are open, abandon lines, and what some of the juctions are like. User:Aalox/sandbox1 - Aalox (Say HelloMy Work) 13:55, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
I was able to greatly expand the map with a time table I found. I marked all the stations as closed passenger stations. Do you know of any that are still open? Frieght Only? Not a station at all (ex Just a bridge, just a juction in the tracks?)- Aalox (Say HelloMy Work) 14:52, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
This is excellent. All stations are closed. I am going to get the reference work from the local library. I think you should put up the map on the article page and see what comments it generates. There is a GBW historical society which can probably provide more detail and photos. I am a member. I am not sure of the protocol for contacting each other other than through this page. Not sure if I want to bore the world with every detail.--Wickifrank (talk) 13:40, 5 June 2014 (UTC)--Wickifrank (talk) 13:40, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
I'll put it up. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't any glaring errors in it first. If you wish to contact me, you can do so at "aaloxian at google's e-mail service". I didn't simply type it out so that spam bots can't copy past it into their e-mail lists.- Aalox (Say HelloMy Work) 14:23, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
