June 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm DVdm. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Alcohol in the Bible—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. DVdm (talk) 08:19, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Note: you better take this to the article talk page. I have reverted your second removal. See wp:BRD. - DVdm (talk) 08:40, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Removing two paragraphs[edit]

Did you read my edit summary? I wrote that the etymology of the word 'alcohol' given in the two paragraphs is obsolete. This etymology can be found on http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/alcohol under 'Various old etymological notes'.

Besides, the author of these paragraphs seems to have a strong aversion to drinking alcoholic beverages, which shines through the words and examples he/she uses. This clearly violates neutrality.

Yes, I read your summary. That's why I didn't give a second level warning. You need to go to the article talk page and discuss with the other contributors to get wp:consensus over this. Good luck. - DVdm (talk) 08:57, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
