The sources for this information on Laid down, Launched and Commissioned are the individual Wikipedia pages for the various ships or the class pages for each class. Not quite sure how to source these. Wanted to add this information to get an idea of how quickly some of these massive ships went from laid down to commissioned. Thanks for the reply (I wasn't sure you were even checking this page) I had suspected as much about the source of info, just wasn't going to go through all 140 pages to check. Copying within Wikipedia is ok, but at minimum you should provide a link to the source article in an edit summary for attribution. (This is also why I added the edit summary notice to this page earlier to encourage you to start adding them as you had'nt added any.) In this case, you were adding info from 20 to 40 pages at one go, so linking them all in a summary would have been impractical, if not impossible. Instead, I would've suggested you put a note on the article talk page that the info is from each individual ship article, then just mention that in your summary. It's too late for edit summaries now, but you can still note the attribution on the talk page. That way you don't need to worry about the info you added being challenged as unsourced. - wolf 17:57, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
