February 2022[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Haplogroup R1a have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 07:35, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Mako001. I noticed that in this edit to Faryab Province, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mako001 (C)  (T)  09:48, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

March 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Jaghatu (Hazara tribe) does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! – robertsky (talk) 17:03, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

April 2022[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. HistoryofIran (talk) 16:09, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ethnic groups in Afghanistan. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. DMacks (talk) 16:46, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (Ethnic groups in Afghanistan) for a period of 48 hours because of edit warring in that area. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions again.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Oz\InterAct 20:36, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've extended the block since you are responding to editors but are still making disruptive edits. Please seek consensus before trying to force through your edits. If you don't understand why I did this, please send me a message on your or my talk page. Oz\InterAct 16:00, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
