Eclipse images[edit]

Absolutely nothing wrong with having a grouping of images there. This is done at most of the modern total solar/lunar eclipse articles. No issues with those, as long as they don't become too cluttering. Since eclipses are largely visual phenomenon, it helpers readers if there's at least some images that depict each stage of the eclipses from different vantage points. It seems that you forgot that WP:IAR exists too. Please stop; your edits are becoming disruptive. LightandDark2000 🌀 (talk) 10:07, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your claim of "absolutely nothing wrong" is ridiculous. These are indiscriminate collections of images, in articles which already have plenty of images to illustrate them encyclopaedically. It doesn't help readers at all to have these. The Commons exists for indiscriminate collections of images; they have no place in encyclopaedia articles. 37.152.231.66 (talk) 10:10, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
We don't even include all the available images (if we did, that would be an issue). If you still want to push through your changes, discuss it first on an WP:RFC. Consider this to be your last warning. If you continue your disruptive edits without obtaining consensus first, you may be blocked without further warning. The policy exists; everybody has to abide by it. If you don't like the policy, start a discussion to get it changed. I will continue to abide by it. 37.152.231.66 (talk) 10:13, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You are violated established consensus by the Eclipse WikiProject. But I'm done here, and my warning still stands. LightandDark2000 🌀 (talk) 10:14, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
There's no such thing as "local consensus". If you think you have a consensus to violate a policy, you don't. 37.152.231.66 (talk) 10:16, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
