June 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Skin (Sabrina Carpenter song), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Mikehawk10 (talk) 05:10, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Skin (Sabrina Carpenter song). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. — Mikehawk10 (talk) 05:15, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Skin (Sabrina Carpenter song), you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. — Mikehawk10 (talk) 05:27, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 2601:141:8102:40E0:A182:C33A:8E28:5790, has made edits that do not conform to our policies and therefore have been reverted. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors. If you'd like to experiment with the syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

You don't have to log in to read or edit pages on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.

Some good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask the Help Desk, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Again, welcome! — Mikehawk10 (talk) 05:32, 23 June 2021 (UTC) Such a warm welcome (NOT)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Skin (Sabrina Carpenter song). — Mikehawk10 (talk) 05:44, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't add scarequotes or add original syntheses. These are considered disruptive edits. — Mikehawk10 (talk) 05:46, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am just trying to help the page out. There is no need to make threats. Why isn't there like a rulebook or something instead of a bunch of scattered policies no one has ever read? Is everything disruptive editing? I don't understand.

Check out the five pillars of wikipedia, linked above, for a high level overview. — Mikehawk10 (talk) 05:52, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The pillars are so vauge I don't see how I violated them.
