Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Lindisfarne Castle into Lindisfarne. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 10:57, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

May 2018[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Danny Cowley, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox instead. Thank you. Egghead06 (talk) 09:41, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced content[edit]

@Doug Weller: That user broke the 3 revert rule and is adding unsourced content. You can ban me but please check his edits. Thank you.213.205.192.131 (talk) 16:25, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

3 reverts doesn't break 3RR, 4, yours, does. Looking at Shunga Empire, how can it not be part of the history of Bengal? That doesn't need a source. You are coming across as anti-anything to do with Bengal. Doug Weller talk 16:27, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

April 2019[edit]
