(Subnote to this: Hello, user. All small parties that participate in the electoral process deserve to have some attention on Wikipedia. These articles aim to present the facts about a party, using news sources and other available references. Based on all agreed-upon principles in political science, this party falls on the right wing, populist end of the political spectrum. If you are involved with the party and can provide any sources that speak to errors or omissions made here, please provide them. Thanks.) HamOntPoliFiend (talk) 16:35, 9 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Alliance Party of Ontario 2.0[edit]

No, that does not clear it up, as you did not present neutral, objective, and pertinent information on . Actually, you lied and present a false, biased, and non objective presentation of factual information. There was no advertising of any party, simply factual information which you do not present, your own work does not base upon the fact or truth of the Ontario Alliance and thus you HamOntPoliFiend are simply a propagandist who must defend their lies in their editing as you have made.

Hello again, 198.254.254.12. Thank you for your comments on my talk page.

Wikipedia is a space to present neutral, objective, and pertinent information on relevant issues, actors, and groups present in the world today. Wikipedia is not a space to advertise for a particular party or to present a narrative that comes directly from a political party that seeks to control the conversation around itself.

I appreciate your concern for the edits being made to the Alliance Party of Ontario page. The information contained within is derived from an understanding of the party's principles, media coverage of the party and its leadership (eg: articles like this, this, and this) and concepts in basic political science.

If we take the party's platform, for example:

1. Balanced Budget First
2. No to Carbon Tax Pricing
3. No to the Sex Ed Curriculum
4. Let Patients Decide with Choice and Competition on Essential and Non-Essential Servicing
5. Tax Fairness and Relief for hardworking families, individuals and small businesses towards Job Creation, Affordable Living and Balanced Economic Growth
6. Decentralization and returning power to regions
7. Recall, Referenda, and Real Responsible Representation

These points are a combination of staples of the populist movement, social conservative politics, and general right-leaning politics. Given the party's roots, the membership overlaps with the former Family Coalition and right-leaning PCers, it is fair to say the party is a social conservative, populist party on the right side of the political spectrum. It is not a 'radical centrist' party (as that term is a fabrication not recognized in political science), nor is it a 'localist' party (which is a term better suited to small, municipally-based parties or radical political movements in Asia).

The remainder of the edits regularly made to the page read as if they come from an Alliance Party press release. Again, Wikipedia is not a place for promotion, merely a space to present relevant information that does not favour one party over another.

As for bias, I do not have any preference in this election as I am presently not a resident of Ontario, despite having lived in the province in the past. I am a neutral third party, presenting the facts.

I hope that clears things up. HamOntPoliFiend (talk) 04:20, 6 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
