July 2018[edit]

Hello, I'm PolicyReformer. I noticed that in this edit to Talk:George Ranalli, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --Policy Reformer(c) 23:39, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The appropriate way to respond to talk page comments you disagree with is to respond to them by editing the page and indicating your response so future editors can see the dialog, rather than just removing the comments entirely. --Policy Reformer(c) 00:26, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I know that it can be hard to learn the Wikipedia system, but I'm going to give you two direct instructions based on your conduct so far.
  1. Do not remove the maintenance templates at the top of George Ranalli again, or you will be blocked. Let's leave that for an experienced editor to decide that the COI edits have been mitigated.
  2. Do not blank others' comments at Talk:George Ranalli, or you will be blocked. There are a limited number of reasons to blank other users' talk page comments, and none of them apply here.
If any of this is unclear, ask for assistance here, on your talk page. —C.Fred (talk) 00:34, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
