Castellón is the most used name in English. Full stop. This is the English Wikipedia, not the Catalan one. You think that by following WP:GUIDELINES as I do, that's doing nationalistic edits? You're the one that wants to impose a Nationalistic POV over several pages. I just follow the English Wikipedia's Guidelines.

I won't even mention another IP and another brand new user did very similar if not the same edits as you did with this IP in various articles, which is not hard to see as strange but I won't enter on that territory for now as I will just try to make you comprehend that you should follow guidelines when editing in the English Wikipedia.

A prime example: Copenhagen is the only name of København, as well as the only bolded one, despite being København the only official name and the name in Denmark's only official language. But in English it's Copenhague. Want a Spanish example? Check Seville. The only name is Sevilla but in English is Seville, Sevilla is not even bolded despite being the only official name and Spanish being the only official language... and so on. There are a lot of examples regarding city / town names.

Also as you might perfectly know, the name Castellón / Castelló de La Plana was official from 1982 to 2019 when a political biased action made by the previous ruling parties changed the official name that lasted for so many years (before that it was just Castellón, which is also the vast majority name used in English sites) so in your case I would be grateful I have still left Castelló bolded and in the infobox.

And for your info (as you might know already) the city will be renamed soon again to Castellón de la Plana / Castelló de la Plana as the actual major has stated: https://cadenaser.com/comunitat-valenciana/2023/06/22/el-pp-recuperara-el-toponimo-bilingue-de-la-ciudad-castellocastellon-de-la-plana-radio-castellon/?outputType=amp yet this is not really important for the Wikipage as the prevailing name in English won't be any different from the actual one. I hope you will understand now. LucenseLugo (talk) 01:58, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
