Takiya is a village in the Tral sub-district of the Jammu and Kashmir consisting of (Haer-Takiya, Bon-Takiya and Arabal). It is situated on Midoora-Batagund road, people of this village are mostly associated with agriculture and business. Takiya is sarronded by natural resources with Nallah-i-Chandriara on one side and Vastoorvan on the other. Zubair Ahmad Bhat(Technologist) and Muzaffar Manzoor(Social Media Infulancer) belongs to Takiya Tral. They later with the help of Mohammed Altaf Shah founded 'Mohammadiya Baitul Maal' a non profit organisation which helps poor and deprivated people locally.
