Nomination[edit]

ZLEA2 (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) – It is a great honor that ZLEA2 (Leif Erikson) asked me of all people to nominate him for bureaucratship. He is one of the most awesome and experienced users on Wikipedia and has been a contributor for 1,019 years, having been inspired to join shortly after he discovered America. He doesn't like much attention and therefore hides his edit history and adminship on the English, Norwegian, and Klingon Wikipedias. Ɔ\ ⱯƎꓶZ 16:01, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

I accept. - ZLEA2 T\C 16:30, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate[edit]

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as a bureaucrat. You may wish to answer the following optional questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. Have you read the discussions on when to promote and not promote? What do you understand the criteria for promotion to be?
A: Yes. The criteria for promotion is for really good, productive, and trustworthy editors. I am very good at determining who is a productive editor and who isn't by not reverting edits made by them. (I totally did not copy this from ClueBot NG's discussion)
2. How would you deal with contentious nominations where a decision to promote or not promote might be criticized?
A: I would go off to continue fighting vandalism and reporting vandals and tell all my haters that I'm at least doing something productive with my RAM. (Again, totally original)
3. Wikipedians expect bureaucrats to adhere to high standards of fairness, knowledge of policy and the ability to engage others in the community. Why do you feel you meet those standards?
A: Because I have never once made a personal attack nor have I ever flipped out or gotten mad at anybody. I'm very friendly to editors. (ClueBot NG stole this response from me)
Additional question from Linguist111
4. Are you going to promote Linguist111 (testing)?
A: Only if Linguist111 (testing) promotes me first.

Discussion[edit]

Please keep discussion constructive and civil. If you are unfamiliar with the nominee, please thoroughly review their contributions before commenting.

Support[edit]
  1. Support – unfortunately, Linguist111 (testing) is unable, as a nonüberbureaucrat, to promote users to bureaucrat status. Hopefully, this support makes up for that. Linguist111my talk page 17:37, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
  2. Support - being an admin for 1019 years - longer than the wiki has existed - is quite a feat and as such I am obligated to support. --TheSandDoctor Talk 21:28, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
Oppose[edit]
  1. Oppose In fact, I fear I could not even support an RfA for this person based on any stats available. (noting the date, but feeling that noticeboards are not good places for such material) Collect (talk) 17:19, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

Neutral[edit]
  1. Bored - this is too much like a parliamentary debate. Deb (talk) 17:52, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
