I suspect that most Wikipedia users are like me: after two decades of being a "passive consumer" of Wikipedia information, I finally signed up in 2022 to be a user so that I could add my two-cents' worth of opinion to a single Wikipedia article. It may be another twenty years before I am compelled to do so again.
