Tiger Puffer Neuronal Necrosis Virus[edit]

Tiger puffer neuronal necrosis virus (TPNNV) is a member of the Betanodavirus genus and the family Nodaviridae[1]. TPNNV is one of four viruses in the Nodaviridae family that cause neuronal necrosis in fish hosts. NNV has been known to infect Redspotted grouper, Striped Jack, Tiger puffer, and Barfin flounder fish[2].
