I have been editing at wikipedia since early 2005, and I think the project is fantastic!

In the interest of disclosure...

This particular account is a legitimate use sock puppet. Per official policy, WP:SOCK sock puppets are allowed for the puposes of 'Segregation and security' and 'Keeping heated issues in one small area'. In an effort to preserve my anonimity and to avoid harassment outside of wikipedia, I will make edits to a particular subject area using only this account (this subject area should be obvious to anyone viewing my edit history, and my concerns about harassment should be apparent to anyone familiar with said subject).

I welcome all comments and discussion on this talk page.

I feel strongly that articles should abidbe by WP:NOR and WP:VER. I don't like to see poorly sourced material cited in articles, particularly in contentious articles. I believe that our role as wikipedia editors is not present our own opinion or analysis, but rather to sumarize and articulate the ideas put forth by credentialed experts, authors, and journalists.

Most importantly I KEEP IT CIVIL. I strive to conduct myself in a civil manner at all times. If you catch me off guard, do let me know, will you?
