The Dano-Karaikal Conflict (Danish; Konflikten mod Carical) was a small-scale conflict between the Danish at Tranquebar and the Portuguese at Karaikal. The conflict includes three smaller naval engagements, which eventually led to a four-hour-long imprisonment of Captain Simon Jansen.
