I am retired and have past careers with the US Navy (naval officer and served on submarines, at the Pentagon, etc.) and with the US Federal Government (senior positions), with various degrees and professional certifications. I have also lived overseas in Europe and Asia (longest time was in Japan) and been assigned to support NATO staffs and US embassies. I have eclectic interests including history, maritime subjects, government and various engineering and scientific disciplines.
