I've been using Wikipedia as a resource for several years, and I would like to get involved.

I know a great deal about boats and I am always reading and learning, so I am going to focus my efforts there first. I have sailed my entire life, have some blue-water experience and I currently own a 40-foot trawler.

My background is in newspaper reporting and I currently run an online magazine for boaters.
