The following table is an attempt to gather all usable online taxonomic databases that are reliable, well maintained and usable by the various WikiProjects inside WP:TOL. This page was prompted by a discussion on which taxonomic databases can the different projects depend on, in order to make their work easier. Additionally, some taxonomic publications (systematic reviews) of the groups, published in relatively recent years (as of 2023), are considered important in the corresponding projects.
