Dr. Jakob Nielson, the usability guru has made a remark stating that 80% of website principles are still an issue today. 10% of the issues have gone because the users have changed and the other 10% because the technology has changed. Also, citing examples of sites like Google, ebay, Amazon, he said this websites have been popular owing to their usable and creative design. He stresses on the point that the usability aspect of a website’s design is very important nowdays, in order to make the website a hit.
