I am Shivangi Naithani,from New Delhi. I am student at Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University, Delhi.

Current Academic Pursuation i am doing my b.a history(hons) cource, My aim is to acquire an Interpersonal behavior skills by attending protocol services in exhibition and conferences and Internship in the field and regarding history, which helps enhance my knowledge and experiences.so basically i am attending differents workshops to gain more experience and widen my gaze .

National Cadet Corps (school and college, ‘B’ certificate and ‘C’ certificate Holder), indian military cadet corps.The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and Universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades .

University Grants Commission Innovative project Delhi University, was a part of the research work. (2012- 2013). [project name - DELHI : the city as text] this was one experience that has helped me enhanced my communication skills, throughtout my life i have lived in DELHI but never got to know my city the way i know it now, exploring the unexplored DELHI in a different way .

pradarshak - volunteer guide programme – National museum (under Ministry of Culture (India) ) Working as a intern at National museum.Programme started in month of january 2013, i have been a part of it since August since i was part of third batch.The idea behind this whole concept of VGP is to engage masses and stimualte their interest in cultural heritage of india, through a brief showcase of collection of the national museum that has been displayed .

In my school days, i used to learn Kathak from Birju Maharaj renowned institute Kalasharm and then i even took training in Contemporary Dance form. My passion for dance have remained same all throught my life till now.Urge to learn and do something new is always been a part of me .

Exploing Egypt

• Egypt-Egyptian civilisation Ancient Egypt has many monuments, objects and artifacts that have been recovered from archaeological sites, covered with hieroglyphs that has now been deciphered. The beauty of its art, the accomplishment of its architecture or the richness of its religious traditions .
• Indian History Being a history student and also a history buff, Indian History and Culture Society has been a intrigruing part of my studies. Also aspiring to crack civil services exam makes it more important for me. My area of interest is History of Indian textile .here was textile trade in India during the early centuries. A block printed and resist-dyed fabrics, whose origin is from Gujarat is found in tombs of Fostat, Egypt. This proves that Indian export of cotton textiles to the Egypt or the Nile Civilization in medieval times were to a large extent. Large quantity of north Indian silk were traded through the silk route in China to the western countries. The Indian silk were often exchanged with the western countries for their spices in the barter system.
