Drawing[edit]

The article was at Hook-Handed Man but has since been changed.

Here is where I found the pic, however: http://www.deviantart.com/view/15464892/

Hope that helps.--CyberGhostface 22:44, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

R-57[edit]

Don't think so as of yet, as this bug has only appeared in "The Scourge". Maybe it should be included into Prior (Stargate) instead? --SoWhy 14:41, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

I think "List of alien races" is more for humanoid and/or sentient beings, not for flora and fauna. As those bugs are most likely made by the Ori and/or the Priors like the plague, they should be considered a weapon and thus be named in those articles.  SoWhy Talk 13:17, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

NO Source.[edit]

Im inquiring about the Metal Gear Solid B.D you created. There is no source, the message reffers to it being the "latest" Metal Gear game, I personally have never heard of this. Can it be deleted? -- Psi edit 22:22, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

Removal of merger tags[edit]

Please do not remove merger tags from articles such as Governor Severus unless a consensus has been achieved. Such edits could be considered to be vandalism and could get you blocked if you continue. Cheers --Pak21 18:28, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

La'Kais is the agreed upon example of a character in a 40k video game who is "notable enough" to have their own article. If you're trying to assert that Severus is as important as La'Kais, that's would be a valid reason to keep him, but I think you're going to have to provide some evidence for this fact before people are convinced. I note that a Google for 'severus "fire warrior"' produces only 401 hits, as opposed to 'kais "fire warrior"' which produces 12,800, and that on the IMDB listing for Fire Warrior, Severus is only fourth. Cheers --Pak21 18:53, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
That's why I recommended a merge into Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior: create a "notable characters" section there, and populate it with La'Kais (probably just a reference to his full article), Severus and (judging by the IMDB listing), The Admiral, Lusha and Ardius as well. Cheers --Pak21 19:00, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Woah! Slow down a bit there. I think what you need to do know is to take part in the discussion and see what the rest of the community thinks. Give an explanation of why Severus is important in the game and therefore deserves to be mentioned. Wikipedia works well when editors reach a consensus; Wikipedia works very badly indeed when editors just edit things without taking into account the views of other editors. Cheers --Pak21 19:14, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Catherine Tramell[edit]

I understand that you are tying to get background info, and I was only saying that maybe it's not something that can easily be built into an article. I'd help if I could, but it's a long time since I've watched Basic Instinct and I'm left more with impressions rather than a detailed recollection. I haven't even seen the sequel. Maybe you could try doing a Google search and see what's available elsewhere. That's about all I can suggest. Rossrs 13:57, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

K-9 Adventures[edit]

Eventually, when we have more information. Right now pretty much all the info is in that one paragraph I added. And it's just K-9 Adventures as far as I know. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 16:11, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I saw the OG page. But if you read carefully, K-9 Adventures: The Animated Series is only the title of the forum sub-page. The name of the series as announced in The Independent and acknowledged in the thread relating to the announcement itself is just K-9 Adventures. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 16:20, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus (character of Rome) Merger[edit]

Isn't it obvious that they're the same person? I feel that whenever a fictional character is clearly meant to be identical to (as opposed to loosely based on) a real person they should not get a unique page. I wasn't taking note when I watched the mini-series ;-) but I felt that they portrayed Pompey quite accurately. Any innacuracies can just be noted on the Pompey page under the existing heading "Pompey in literature and the arts". Is there any reason why you would want to keep them separate? Nick 18:48, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Firefly Family[edit]

Image:Fireflyfamily.jpgHmmm...I'm not too sure. I've already created articles for the seperate characters. My best guess would be to describe the relationships and how they are related to each other.

This is how it seems to be now:

Mother Firefly + Captain Spaulding = Baby

Mother Firefly + Earl (The Professor) = Tiny and Rufus

And Otis isn't 'related' to the Firefly Family (I.E he wasn't born from Mother Firefly), but was raised by them if that makes sense.

A good pic to use would be the one I posted here. Hope that helps. :)--CyberGhostface 19:58, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Pages[edit]

I'm not too familar with the characters you asked me to do, but I did modify the articles. As for the Krool page, I removed a some of the images as there was way too much cluttering up the page.--CyberGhostface 19:36, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Re:Cylon God article[edit]

I created an article for the God. Please help! - SGCommand

You probably know more about it than I do at this point. I don't know what you want from me? I thought Lucy Lawless's character was just a normal Cylon. Looks to me that this is info about her portraying the "Cylon God" may be just speculation of what is yet to come in the series, and probably shouldn't be made into an article yet until it's shown on television, otherwise it could be removed as fan-speculation. Rogue Trooper[edit]

What I'd suggest is we take the discussion on creating new entries to the talk page and take it from there. I'll also drop a note into the 2000 AD talk page where we have been putting together a to do list. (Emperor 14:25, 6 May 2006 (UTC))

OK cool - I am technically happy with the list I give there as it gives the most flexibility without spinning off too many entries. I'll drop in other thoughts as they occur to me but that seems good for now. If you start any let me know and I'll run through and throw more stuff in - it'll take a few goes to knock them all into shape but its nicely doable. (Emperor 16:38, 8 May 2006 (UTC))
Thanks for starting those. I took the opporunity to create stubs for the various other entries that were needed. As I say they all link into each other and so it'll take a few goes round to get everything in the right place. On the talk page I outline a couple of other entries it'd be worth creating but I don't know enough about the Rogue games to comment but given the release of the computer game I am pretty sure they'll need their own entry as there are a lot of extra links and such like (as well as categories, etc.) and it'd start messing the main entry up. (Emperor 02:07, 9 May 2006 (UTC))
Thanks for starting the games section - I might move the whole subsection over from the main page. (Emperor 23:55, 15 May 2006 (UTC))

Bad Company & Krool[edit]

Thanks for starting those however I suspect the naming might need a quick tweak. If you check out the 2000AD to do list you'll find the right name Bad Company (comics) - other entries already point there and BC is first and foremost a comic (even if there has been a graphic novel collection released). Equally there is nothing at the simpler Krool and I can think of nothing else that would need to go there. So I'd recommend moving them both and jamming in a redirect. I'd do it myself now but wanted to run it passed you first so it didn't seem quite so "abrupt." Thanks for the efforts - there is so much work still to do its always great to have more helping hands ;) (Emperor 14:34, 8 May 2006 (UTC))

Thanks for moving the BC stuff - looks much better. I'll run through and add some stuff. I've started the discussion on the new Rogue Trooper entries on the talk page we can finalise the list and then it doesn't matter who starts them as long as we are on the same page. I have also dropped in a note on the 2000AD to do list so other people can contribute if they want. (Emperor 16:28, 8 May 2006 (UTC))

Godfather Template[edit]

Hi, Sdoroudi here.
You wrote: Are you gonna fill those red links in or what?
I was really hoping that someone who is very familiar with the book would write the character pages. Do you know how I could go about starting a WikiProject? If you think a project is unnecessary and if you think it would be best that those red links be turned into blue ones right away, I can work on them during the weekend, but the best I can do is turn them all into stubs (unless I can find sufficient online sources which provide information on those characters).
Any advice would be appreciated; thanks in advance! Sdoroudi 15:36, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

I'll do my best to get the stubs up sometime this weekend. Sdoroudi 16:07, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry. Please tell me exactly what you wish me to do.--Keycard (talk) 17:15, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Ah. Third time lucky. However, I think that they need to be linked to. I'd prefer them to be red links, but I can't do anything about that, not being an admin.--Keycard (talk) 17:20, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Yes, but they play such minor parts in the book that it's not worth them having their own articles.--Keycard (talk) 17:28, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

They shouldn't be removed, because they're part of a set, one of which (Oceania) must be mentioned.--Keycard (talk) 07:19, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Organized Crime and Racketeering Squad listed for deletion[edit]

Exosquad[edit]

I do not think that splitting the list was such a good idea. First, Neosapiens were the ones who controlled the Homeworlds for the most time of the series. Second, now the entire inter-linking of Exosquad articles is messed up. Third, if you change the articles structure on such scale, you should first propose it on the talk page. That's common etiquette... I would've reverted your edits right away, but I prefer to inform people before I do such things. --Koveras 17:05, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

House of Pain[edit]

No need to apologise for starting the entry ;) As it stands its not a major story line. It could be that further stories will pick up on the floating prison line and/or on the House of Pain 2 but for the latter they'd need to find a way of telling a different story and that might be tricky as it stand. The end does leave further developments open but it also could just be a dramatic device. If new stories do emerge then it might be worth looking into an entry to reflect this (or possibly not) but it might be that the entry might not be under House of Pain but could easily be under the floating prison if the focus shifts that way (and there does seem more potential down that route). So I'd suggest a wait and see attitude on that one. (Emperor 13:15, 17 June 2006 (UTC))

Dinosaurs in 2000 AD[edit]

Dinosaurs crop up from time to time. The main one being Flesh but your description makes it sound different. Now it might just be that I have been noodling with an entry for Clint Langley but I'm wondering if you are thinking about Dinosty [2] [3] Does that ring any bells? I'd have to dig out the old issues to double check. (Emperor 19:42, 19 June 2006 (UTC))

Friday merge[edit]

It has been put up for merging - you can drop your opinions into the Rogue Trooper talk page (Emperor 14:38, 20 June 2006 (UTC))

List of perps?[edit]

I'd suggest we wait until there are more entries then we can kick the idea around (Emperor 14:38, 20 June 2006 (UTC))

2000 AD suggestions[edit]

Thanks for the list (also feel free to discuss ieas for new entries on the 2000 AD talk page so others can give their thoughts as there is no guarantee I'm right ;) ). I think you have to keep the two Ns in mind: notability and normalisation. With the latter in mind you have to keep in mind if the characters crop up in various other entries creating a need to reduce replication (it also suggests they are notable). So yes to Savage (although possibly with a diffrent name), London Falling and The Ten Seconders and no to most of the others (which can easily be accomodated within the parent entries) except possibly The Volgans who were also the villians in the ABC Warriors. The rest would just be merged with the parent entry - as those Nikolai Dante ones you've created will be (they could be easily accomodated within a list on the main entry). (Emperor 16:56, 20 June 2006 (UTC))

Iron Storm series[edit]

Its news to me. The 2000 AD message board might have more information but they tend not to give too much away ahead of times. (Emperor 16:18, 27 June 2006 (UTC))

2000 AD merges[edit]

Hi just a quick note to say I have put up some of your entries for merging in the entries The V.C.s and Nikolai Dante. I have really given my reasoning above and on the 2000 AD talk page and we should be able to use the suggestions section on the talk page to work out what is needed and what isn't beforehand which should help keep your fine efforts focused (as there is a lot still to do!!) (Emperor 01:06, 30 June 2006 (UTC))

Angels and Demons character question[edit]

moved to Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/GeneralForum which is our main forum. Added a response there. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 11:18, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

Angels and Demons[edit]

I'm not sure. I might make some character articles later if I get the chance. My best recommendation is to probably ask in the discussion section for the Angels and Demons or make requests for the articles. Either way, once the movie comes out, others will probably start more articles.--CyberGhostface 12:36, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Dont worry, i've already begun creating the basic articles for the main characters: Vittoria Vetra, Leonardo Vetra and Hassassin. I will create several more tommarow. Feel free to add any known information to the articles i made. Thanks Empty2005 12:44, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

New plan of action[edit]

Thanks for the note - a list of Judge Dredd's perps can easily be dealt with within the Judge Dredd article. It may at some pint need splitting into separate sections but that is the future. It will only be merged back into the main entry. Create the list in the entry and drop a note in the talk section suggesting that it could in the future be a separate section. Nu Earth and Krool merges? I was thinking about the lattter as I believe they don't appear outside of Bad Company. I'll vote against the Nu-Earth one. (Emperor 14:35, 6 July 2006 (UTC))

I think the problem with the Krool entry is that it can all be dealt with in the Bad Company entry. A separate List of aliens (The V.C.s) is just not needed and again can easily be dealt with in the main entry (as can the other entries I've put up for merging into that entry) (Emperor 14:52, 6 July 2006 (UTC))

RE: Blade The Vampire Related[edit]

Created as in wrote the current one that's up. Sorry, didn't mean to take away any of your credit, but it was only a stub when I saw it. Anyway, I'd definitely love to help to the Blade series articles as soon as more info is available about the Houses of the show and such. Count me in. --The Scourge 12:06, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

A couple of things[edit]

I'm not sure of your plans from your note but if they are for separate entries then they will get merged back into the main one (or just removed). As it stands I don't think House of Pain is even worth a mention in the main article - if it does return or spins off into other stories then we might look at it again. A list of perps would be fine within the Judge Dredd entry - if it starts getting too big we can look into splitting the main entry but we'll deal with that when the time comes. (Emperor 17:59, 28 July 2006 (UTC))

Thanks for the numbering - it helps.
1. (b) I think that'd make sense - there are plenty of storylines that do still need creating. I'm also in favour of a category for Mega Cities which I think we discussed before.
2. I'll look into digging up some more stuff on the Krool but I don't have much free time to be digging back through old progs at the moment but there are a few things I want to chase down so I may do it all at the same time.
3. There isn't really any need to add a mention there (I've added links to the main WotW pages).
4. I find having characters above the plot means you don't just end up making the character list redundant as theya re going to be mentioned in the plot. So its best to give them a brief mention and then below that have the plot which outlines where they all fit in. I think I actually moved them up there for this reason - I found it worked out better that way on a number of other entries I've done: The Elite, Leviathan (comic), Necronauts, The Five Fists of Science, etc. If someone moved it I'd probably move it back unless they had a really good reason for it ;)
Hope that helps. (Emperor 18:41, 28 July 2006 (UTC))

Re: Pirates[edit]

Hello! If the discussion on the talk page indicates that that solution would be favorable, then the page would be used to describe the entire franchise; instead of using a bulleted list, the article would provide information on the rides, the adaptations to movies, and the basis of the whole franchise. Again, though, we should wait until the discussion has reached an agreement before proceeding. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 23:28, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
