WeMusic is a brazilian soft rock/alternative rock and acoustic genres band from Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brazil, which was born in 2007 making cover songs and their own songs. Now the band has an album released in August, 2010.
The group is formed by three musicians from the same family, Kppa (Otávio Gazziero), who takes the vocals and composition of the songs, his brother Gabila (Gabriel Gazziero) plays bass and their cousin Paulo Rodacki is the guitarist. The fourth member is their friend and drummer Duda Kassler.
WeMusic started doing acoustic shows in pubs and private parties in Blumenau and Santa Catarina beaches. After that, the project started taking shape until the group decided to record the first album, "Our Land". The band it's influenced by musicians like Animal Liberation Orchestra, Ben Harper, Donavon Frankenreiter, Jack Johnson, John Mayer and Robben Ford.
The first album, "Our Land", it's very eclectic, alternating songs with lyrics in english and brazilian portuguese. The inspiration for writing songs comes from daily life, with topics ranging from environmental matters to taking a bicycle ride with friends.
