From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Greetings, I'm Rider4151 and I'm interested in improving the content of articles in the area of finance, financial history, publishing, music, theater, and New York City history, among other topics. I believe Wikipedia is an extraordinary resource for the exchange and preservation of information. As a seasoned editor and writer, I concentrate on adding new, verified content and making existing content readable and accurate.

I am currently concentrating on the history of financial publishing and just created my first Wikipedia page, on Anthony Stumpf, a prominent financial publisher of the 1800s. It's gratifying to dig up information and images that are in danger of being lost to history and finding a way to preserve them. I am particularly interested in the Wildcat banking era and the formation of the first nationally regulated banks during and after the Civil War.

I was recently asked if I am a paid editor. I am not. I have a strong interest in the Washington theater community and have also edited a friend's Wikipedia page.
