My editing interests are mainly in pre-WWI history and in reliable citations. I am new to editing, although not to Wikipedia, and hope other editors will be patient with me as I learn my way around the site.

I read and write English fluently, and can muddle my way through simple Spanish. My work as an archaeologist has focused on the ancient Mediterranean, particularly in the area of cultural history. I am not a prolific writer, and I have far too many JSTOR articles saved that I really do mean to read someday.
