The infobox Lace Identification may be used on articles about a type of lace, or to represent and classify an individual piece of lace.

epoch

style epoch, for example: Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Classic and Modern

features

distinguishing or unique features of the type of lace

origin

city or region where the lace developed or was traditionally made

ground

applies to all types of laces; how motives are connected: with bars (what makes it a Guipure ), or a mesh

per_pin

applies to bobbin lace; number of pairs per pin entering or leaving a cloth stitch motive; possible values: "one" or "two"
