Paul J Scott

Paul was born in Owen Sound, ON on October 6, 1962, the younger of two children for Harold and Doreen Scott. He has an older sister, Patricia.

Paul is a graduate of the Owen Sound Collegiate and Vocational Institute (1981). He earned a combined Honours degree in English and History at the University of Guelph in 1985, and completed his Bachelor of Education at Laurentian University's Nipissing campus in 1986. Since then Paul has been employed by the Bluewater District School Board, earning further qualifications in Special Education, Computers in the Classroom, Media Studies, and Guidance. He currently holds the Headship of the English Department.

Paul has two children, and enjoys playing tennis, golf and billiards.

Paul has an ongoing interest in the development and preservation of local history. His focus is Ontario, Canada, particularly small, disappearing communities in south-central Ontario.
