Sarrah's World

Hi world! My name is Sarrah Pinkston. I love Cheerleading in all aspects. I am a freshman at Georgia Southern University. This university has a large-scale, small feel. By saying that I mean the school is large, but they try to mak sure everyone has a voice by providing an organization for everyone to be a part of.I think that is a really good quality this school has.I currently love the college I am attending and feel I made the right choice. I am majoring in pre-nursing in hopes of becoming an nurse anesthetist. I graduated from Westlake High School with a 3.6 gpa(grade point average). I was part of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Key Club.These clubs taught me leadership and I may happy I was able to take part in these clubs during high school. I would really like to study abroad while I am in college. I heard it would be a great learning experience if I would be able to study abroad in a differnt country.

Contributions to Wikipedia

My contribution to Wikipedia all started with a assignment in English 1101.I will continue to make updates to make article on JayVaughn Pinkston to ensure everything is correct and easy to understand. I am currently correcting the artilce to remove the tags that have been placed on JayVaughn Pinkston article.My other contributions can be seen n my contributions link where I only made small edits to other articles on Wikipedia.

Relationship to technology

My relationship to technology all started with a social site called MySpace. I began to design my page slowly learning new techniques to use to make things look better. There are things that I would choose over technology like a letter. Letters are always much nicer to read then just a quick text, even if you do get them quicker. It just depends on the topic of the conversation.I am good at certain Microsoft programs like Word or Excel. I have not worked that much on Microsoft Access, but I know the basics I guess. Technology has indeed spoiled me like for example: My cell phone and Laptop.Without those two items i would not know what to do. So at the moment I love the new advances in technology/

Philosophy of Wikipedia

In the past, I use to Wikipedia a lot, but as I went to high school a lot of teachers did not agree with it. They would say it is not reliable enough to use for research papers. Now that I have written my own article, I have seen the work it takes to create these articles and would disagree with hem saying that. Wikipedia allows anybody to write an article if they feel they have the ability to create the perfect article on the topic of their choice. If the topic is not good enough it will be deleted automatically and it can be a good thing. Topics must be important not to only you, but international.

Languages

I only speak one language and one language only. That language is English. If texting was a language I would have to agree that I can be A.W.E.(awesome in texting language), but sadly it is not. So sorry I can only help with English articles on wikipedia.
