Introduction[edit]

The purpose of this page is for my use as a personal sandbox, to develop article content without running the risk of either interfering with main space articles in any way, or of causing edit conflicts.

At the moment, I am using it solely to develop a new infobox (no prose) for the article on the Thirteen Colonies, initially by merging selected fields from two existing infoboxes: British America and British North America, and perhaps other infoboxes if necessary.

Experiment: Telling a story with userboxes ツ[edit]

Yesterday, I wondered whether it might be possible to use various userbox features as a basic form of storyboard, to tell a short story. Both sideboxes could be used for setting the scene and background, including picture files, while the 'info' tags can be used for the script.
The little story (below, right) shows an experimental example, which was quite fun to do and came together very quickly.
