About NPZ[edit]

Ntando was born in Emnambithi/Ladysmith in KwaZulu Natal. She holds a Master's degree in History from the University of the Free State. Through her studies, she has focused on issues pertaining to women and their struggles. During her studies, she has focused on the role of women during the struggle against apartheid and has also focused on women testimonies during the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of South Africa. Ntando has published two books; Her Voice and Ancestor Incarnate. These books are poetry anthologies. On Wikipedia, Ntando intends to share studies of black people in concentration camps during the South African War; and the history of great women such as Queen Manthatisi, Martha Moipone Motlhakwana, the women of Winburg who marched against carrying passes, women incarcerated in Kroonstad prison during apartheid; amongst other things.
