Edit warring happens when the editors disagree about the contents of the page. Don't edit war even if you're right, you will get blocked. Editors who engage in the dispute should reach consensus.

Edit warring is extremely bad for the project and it's editors and readers. It is also harmful to the project, and causes both problems for editors and readers.
