"The vast majority of bloggers out there are responsible correspondents doing fine work in niche reporting fields like Gilmore Girl fan fiction, or cute things their cats do, or photoshopped images of the Gilmore Girls as cats. That's great. Where I draw the line is with these attack-bloggers. Just someone with a computer who gathers, collates and publishes accurate information that is then read by the general public. They have no credibility. All they have is facts. Spare me."Stephen Colbert

The trick to a fan site like this one is to have a good mix of both informative static pages with historical data about the career of Stephen Colbert, as well as a very topical, very well maintained news/blog page. I feel that by aggregating the information that is already out there on the web at sites such as Google News, Technorati, etc. , I can develop a site that will be both relevant to newbie fans as well as interesting enough to bring back readers on a daily basis. My goal is to put all of the random information about Stephen Colbert in one place, and to only put the information this is interesting and informative.

Origin of term "No Fact Zone"[edit]

While Stephen Colbert was still a correspondent for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, he starred in multiple faux teaser trailers for The Colbert Report. The show was a parody of personality-driven pundit news shows such as The O'Reilly Factor. On The O'Reilly Factor, Bill O'Reilly hosts a segment called the No Spin Zone. The No Fact Zone is a direct parody of this element of O'Reilly's show, and is featured on the original trailers for The Colbert Report.
