Michael Mazur; born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, 1985, now resides in Sea Isle City at age 21. He attends Rutgers University where he is a Junior studying history. Michael was an established wrestler for much of his life, although, he is more commonly known for his achievements in surfing and skateboarding. Michael began competing in surfing competitions at the age of 12, finding some success, but had little interest in competitive surfing. In 2004, Michael won his first contest on a collegate level, the Terp Invitational, and NCAA recognized event held in Ocean City, Maryland. Shortly following, he obtained his first sponsorship, Original Skateboards, and got the support he needed to further his surfing and skateboarding careers. In 2005, Michael entered the realm of being a professional athlete receieiving money for his performances and ability, and started what will surely become a flourishing career.
